253: Chatting about Divine Guidance with Author Thomas Nastek
Summary
The Penury City Trilogy tackles the hard topics for our times: control, abortion, pornography, gaming, addiction, torture, and socialism to name a few. However, it doesn’t just call out the problems but gives the explanation of why they are rampant today and the solution.
This adventure is like no other. It will take every ounce of courage, strength, and trust that you can muster. This requires that you put aside everything you know, everything you have been taught, and everything that you might have planned for yourself. The quest compels you to seek after something other than yourself and your passions. It is the journey you have spent your entire life training for ~ hoping for.
You will travel with a non-believer, an atheist of longstanding, who is going after the woman who left him to chase after the myth of God. You will also be accompanied by a seasoned religious who are well trained for this combat mission. There will be others who will join the expedition. Some will make it to the next leg of the journey; some will not. This is not an adventure for the faint of heart. You must be willing to go all the way. You must be willing to give everything. As one Penurian once said: “Trust is a leap and the risks are incredible, almost unbearable, but the rewards of such a faith are unimaginable.”
Thomas lives in Update New York. He has been writing novels of fiction since 2003. His writing often reflects old-fashioned values, Christian/Catholic themes, and inspiring messages of hope. Thomas grew up in a Catholic family where the foundations of his beliefs were seeded, however, they did not fully develop until later in life. He is active in his parish and teaches the faith.
